These new cameras are a lot worse than the old ones. They go off on the slightest bump in the road and tap on the brakes. And worst of all, it now picks up speed limit signs a lot easier. The green light is constantly blinking. Apparently, you can't even view your drive cam events in your portal anymore because it's disabled and only your driver leader can see it.

I've been called in to the office three times already since they installed this BS.

    F...K OFF!!!!!!!!!

I quit a company that had those ... before I quit I used to throw my baseball cap over it , until they told me I could not do that. Then I put a piece of tape over it. Then they told me I could not cover up the camera. So every time the truck went in for service they would uncover the camera. Every time it came out the camera kept getting covered up. I finally quit and moved BACK to a company that did away with there cameras.

Why don’t you just cover up the camera ?

Let me guess you drive for Roehl ? That company is the worst !!! There cameras are a nightmare.
They had those when I was at Dart but I never heard a thing about them. They told me they are working but they have them turned way down low so they rarely go off. If our cameras go off your probably in a ditch , upside down , on fire or are practicing for the Indy 500 is what Dart told me.

they have the incident parameter settings pretty sensitive.

it's all how your company has it set up
