There are flatbed companies that haul regular open deck that have oversize divisions an will train you as you move along in the process.

Hmm sounds like a good next company to work for as I progress along; try to find one of those back home in Louisiana and I’ll be set up

I've pulled for a van line for several years. Blanket wrap freight, Electronics and ran an enclosed crane trailer. Then I pulled a regular dry box. Pulled bulk fuel, some reefers and a lot of flatbed when I worked in Iraq. But then I got into Chemical Tankers and wondered what took me so long. Easy work with good pay, out and back loads, usually home at least 4 nights a week. Retired from that but I do miss it.

Well really all ya need to do is find one that'll hire out of your area that will be able to meet your needs. I know of some companies that do what I'm talking about but have never worked for any of them personally. Also know of a couple that look like good opportunities but they require 3 to 5 yrs experience. I myself would like to find a flatbed gig that could run a team if the one place where looking into doing pharmaceuticals doesn't pan out.

Yea that's pretty much what we all want. I would add quality affordable health benefits.

Also it may be simple to you and me but you would be surprised as to how hard it is to find the right outfit.

I think it’d be cool if I could find one where you run as a group of trucks and bs over the CB lol really wanna get one of those, but from my previous thread there seems to just be a bunch of idiots on it, or nobody at all

I've worked for 2 outfits like that. One was pulling dump trailer back in the 90's. Me and my friends had a lotta fun. Didn't make great money but man i sure miss those days. We worked hard and played hard.
