You should head on over to the “Where Is Everyone” thread and go pack a couple pages to look at this Swift truck that went into the fuel island made for cars, kept on going and took out the pump/started a fire lmfao Idk wtf they teach over there, but I don’t think you’re supposed to do that crap; I heard it’s because they’re a large company and their training suffers from it, but idk

If you've made it THIS FAR w/Prime, the ONLY reason it's not gonna work out is YOU. Just keeping it real. I'm not 'for' or 'against' Prime, or ANY other Mega... I got into this wheelhouse before ppl had to do the 'mega dance' per se.

The thing about Prime is their being a 'stickler' for many PRE employment issues. If you've eeked through that; you're golden.

Trainers, OTOH... dunno. You could request Junior, Tiffany, Rainy/aka Kearsey, some of the 'big guns' over there. The training is LONG..... very. Pretty sure the longest in the industry, nowadays. NOT saying that's a bad thing, whatsoever. Just saying.

If you get a different trainer for TNT than you had w/ PSD (as often happens) .. you better make SURE y'all are a good fit. You will BE w/that person for quite a long minute.

That's my 2 bits of advice. TNT, that's his/her HOME. You MAY wanna take up the smoking or not issue, w/ THAT person, IMHO. I know a few hands over yonder, so.. lmk.

My training days are over for now, but one problem new guys have at certain companies is the company often takes the side of the trainer, listening to the guy talk about how the trainee is no good, not gonna make it, etc and when you go to request for a new trainer they just fire you instead; at Schneider i was on the road with another trainee and a trainer, long story short the two didn’t get along and I pretty much overheard this very thing I’m saying; he wanted a new trainer and one of the company big wigs told the trainer while the guy was out the truck they were just gonna let him go if he chose to do that

Indeed......BUT Prime puts a lot of investment into their new hires...AND PAYS THEM, so 'may' be a bit more amenable to listen to the trainee, for certain issues. I've heard more training nightmares than I can EVEN recall. Both ends on fire, at times. Wouldn't want to be EITHER, tbh.... ;)

Yep, I know... you (and I, actually...) are not huge fans of Prime. Just trying to make the kid 'comfy' if it works out for him, LoL~!! ;)

John, you'll be fine IMHO. Since the tornado, they've stepped up their game / image in many ways; as I hear.

My wife works in the industry, in the journalistic end of things; and keeps me apprised. (Even when I don't care to hear about it, tbh!) << Want her email addy or F/B ?!?!? ;)
