But you can use all those additions without upgrading to a more aggressive cam and bigger injectors?

Nobody’s doing it right. Everone knows you can’t get horsepower without a 3/4 cam. Lol!

All Real big horsepower on a gas engine is made with the heads.

Can’t imagine even a higher longer duration cam would help without opening the heads up a little.

The after market exhaust manifolds still look like a old Log style not like a modern header style like a lot of production cars are running now.

    Just curious.

I drive a pete 389 long hood with a x15 preference engine, 18 speed 3.25 gears. I picked my truck cause I wanted something newer so im hoping for less breakdowns and will last me a long time. I pull open deck. If I was ever to hire a driver I would definitely put them in a freightliner with an automatic. Not much a company driver can do to mess that truck up. I have my own numbers not leased onto anyone

I don’t know at what point you would need that or not. I had that done when the engine was rebuilt for me.

That's why I got this. I have a mini fleet at Landstar ( 4 trucks ). They were giving it away.

They took like $18K off the asking.

    $0 down, 8% interest.

I was going wow. Too good to pass up. It's pretty tough for drivers to get qualified here, but i figured I'd just hang on to it until someone came along.

I'm not long for Landstar. I'm working on direct customers, then we're history lol.

I guess they just needed to move some trucks. They maintenance history is great on it, and I saw pics of the interior when the guy driving it still had it. It was immaculate.

    Tranny is super tight.

The cat you see is our Operations Manager. Runs the whole show. All she does is truck / trucking.

So the asking price you see on their site, you got them to take off 18k from it?

The sales guy that called me last week said what I see online is the final price

    650cat425 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.
