Been trying to fix the A/C system on the truck. Compressor, condenser, dryer, blower and the controls in the cab are good. The hoses in the dash must’ve come loose cause there’s very little, to no air coming through the dash vents on the driver side. Most air is blowing out on the floor and the passenger side dash vent. Also the box that contains the the evaporator, heater core, and blower, has some holes rotted through and alot of air is pushing out of it. I’m either gonna have to patch or replace the box. Y’all got any suggestions?

They sell a complete aluminum box that comes with everything... seems to be well worth the money. Also on my old t600 the ducts on the dash were made of expandable plastic and were rotten.

Pulled the system down to below 0, to test for any leaks and it held pressure for 10 minutes.

Not going to lie. I order the boxes and then drop the truck and parts off at Indianapolis kenworth body shop. Then pick it up once done and ac recharged. Body shop is only $85 dollars an hour. Roughly get charged about six hours usually. Plus freon

I just did mine and it took about a half a day. I gained some blower increase after doing it but still think I have a few of the ducts inside pulling apart I will say that the air is alot colder now that the new box is sealed up better than the rusted one.

I have the Jemali box too. It's not easy to put in, I purchased the loaded one with a new evap, heater core, fan ... it's great to have flow and ICE COLD AC in the heat of Arizona. Replace the duct tubes running through the dash. Make sure the air doors are working. The TRP brand condenser is the best I've used so far.

Been thinking about taking the condenser off the radiator mount, getting some custom hoses, and putting it on the back of the sleeper with a shroud and electric fans. Its amazing how much heat load on the radiator and cac come from the ac condenser.
