Saw this guy struggling with his load...
So I offered some assistance, he only had 4 binders...
Looks a little better, at least I think so.

That crap really pisses me off!! Just a warning!
A warning for what.? Her ignorance!.?
Those warnings carry the same weight as the dang ticket would, but are 10x's harder to fight through the stink'n data q system, or whatever it's called.. At least you can fight an unjust ticket, or worse case scenario get it down graded to a parking ticket or something that won't carry weight against your csa score..
I have plenty respect for law enforcement, it's a tough gig too say the least. But get really bent about these mindless citations just to justify their job existence during these blitzes. This one was supposed to be about safe driving, driver habits or something like that. Quit breaking balls for Christ sake... -
So...covid has me on hold. For those windering about my jumping in to trucking. Found out FFE had opened for one class. Then shut back down in lancaster, tx. So instead of isolating in a rig. I'm atuck isolating in the woods. Granted much prettier. But no APU controlled AC. LOL

And thank you for helping out! Good hand, not just learning the driver some knowledge, but keeping the road safe..
This is just ONE reason I decided to get away from hotshot. Because of this dude, there is a good possibility the shipper he loaded at will probably want to stop loading hotshots.
Did you ask him why he didn't just have it loaded properly in the 1st place.? If they were up against the neck, 4 chain & binder would have been sufficient. One front, one middle, & 2 for the rear. There would actually be some weight on the drive axle also, instead of balancing it all over the trailer axle like that. Hope he ain't going far.. Fella is in for one heck of a buck'n chuck'n ride loaded like that.. -
clausland, Eldiablo, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 5 others Thank this.

It's like people don't realize when a leaf sprung rear in a pickup has weight on it, it will squat.! I liked to load mine up to max. Get them helpers/overload sprigs engaged 2" or so & she'll ride pretty smooth. When the helper/overload aren't engaged, the perches will be so close even with just the empty wagon. Start bouncing off them things going down the boulevard, makes for a long day.. LoL
My springs still kept the rear standing tall after 240k of beating on it.. Air assist would have been nice, but I'm a cheapskate..
clausland, Eldiablo, OLDSKOOLERnWV and 5 others Thank this. -
