The Heniff Peoplenet trainer made it seem like they'll be on you for any little thing. I don't think they are self insured like Superior. Plus more cameras and no crawling at 4mph are coming. I wanted to get off OTR anyways, the changes just made it a much easier decision.

I understand you guys’ anxiety, but from my experience Heniff is not a bad company at all. If your mind is made up, there’s not much I can say, but I’d give them a chance.
Are they perfect?
No, but Superior had its own issues. My hope is that they will take the best of both companies. There are going to be some growing pains, there’s no doubt about that, but I genuinely feel that when all is said and done we are going to set the standard the industry wishes to achieve.
I know cameras and whatnot suck, but that’s the way things are going. Massive lawsuits have forced it on us. In the coming years I think it’s going to be industry wide. Even independents will be forced to get in line if they want coverage.
At the end of the day I can’t fault a guy for taking a higher paying and/or more local job, but don’t jump ship before it has even left the dock. -

Dropping pc to 15 miles would be kind of irritating, but there is no law that says they have to give you any, so there’s that.
The slowness has definitely not helped, that is a fact. It came at a bad time too because it just stirred up the old rumor mill even more.
I just caution anyone against making rash decisions based on rumors before everything is even done. All the people from Superior are still there and it seems Heniff is also kind of hands off in the same way when it comes to not breathing down your neck if you’re doing your job.Orange713 Thanks this. -

It’s always been my understanding that everyone will have a job. Now, I’m sure that in some places where there are two terminals, one manager might end up in another role. They may end up leaving because they feel they got screwed over or don’t want to be a dispatcher or whatever, but it seems like Heniff is concerned with doing right by the people and keeping them employed. As for me as long as they keep paying me I’ll do whatever. Drive, wash trailers, mop the floor, I’m not attached to a particular title.
I can’t speak on the layover or bunk pay thing. Last rumor I heard was that Superior drivers could possibly choose which pay package to take. We’ll see how that plays out. Seems to me though at the end of the day a certain percentage of every dollar that comes in has to be factored in for wages. Whether that is broken down into miles/layover etc. or just one chunk would make little difference come year end.
Haven’t heard about driver facing cameras yet. Unfortunately though I think they’ll become the norm industry wide as insurance companies make the rules. The days of self insurance are probably numbered with the ridiculous settlements handed out in lawsuits. Anymore one bad accident could bankrupt a self insured company.
And like I say, I can’t fault a guy for leaving if he finds a good local opportunity, or the dream job he’s always wanted.Redtwin Thanks this. -
This is on Superiors FB page, dated June 15th., this is frustrating because drivers have NOT received a rise in 2 years, and are still making $20 & $21.5 local. So basically new hirers are making more than drivers with many, MANY years experience. Trainees are making more than trainers. I'm hoping Superior / Heniff corrects the differences sooner than later........

Anyone get profit share in the 401k this year from either Hennif or Superior? I am starting to feel like Clark Grizwald in Christmas Vacation.
Would really like to know the answer.
Not much of a change for me so far. I drag a tank, load, unload, get paid. If too many changes occur which I don't like, my cdl isn't nailed down. A jelly of the month club membership would be too much of a change.
