“But, but....we don’t have time for all that fancy blocking you picky drivers want all the time. Just go do the job you’re overpaid for.”

i hate big long rebar, they NEVER want to load it right. (tight and up against each other)

I've found that if i put some dunnage kinda 45 deg across the top pieces and then put my straps across the dunnage at least something is pushing down on everything.

Also I'll edit my statement. I hate rebar places.

They want to keep them separate so the customer can crane them off. Doesn't make it any less dangerous. They need saws to cut up the dunnage at those places but noooo.

The rage one feels when you spend hours tarping a load. Adding tarp protection and making it look professional for 90 mph. Arrive at the receiver and untarp. They unload it and drop it in the mud outside for storage.

If total trailer/ load is under 53 ft long and the overhang is under 4 ft then it is legal in most states and provinces. He must be permitted for the width of the tires and may have to add rear overhang in some states to the permit. The weight should be no more than 78000 lbs on 5 axles depending on tractor weight.

It's divisible? You can only have one over sized piece on the deck? Right? Or is that state to state? I'm new to Over Size.

Divisible pertains to permitted over weight loads not width or height.

That law is designed to keep you from doing stuff like putting 2 40000 pound coils on a trailer getting a permit and calling it good

If that was the case you could not have a 10 foot wide crate on the same trailer as a 9 foot wide crate even if the crates were only 1000 pounds each. Or two wide A/C units on the same trailer
