I did my buddies w9 with airliner. Great suspension, great ride, easy maintenance.

My brother has flex air, that suspension is just to complex. To many moving parts. I'll pass.

WHY NOT and Shawn2130 Thank this.

I wouldn't call that a HH suspension. Neway has that title in the air ride catagory by far.

I guess you get new bushings when you put the sway bars in too? If I remember the round beams that run cross wise are a smaller diameter on the 400 so the ones from the 200 won't fit right? Could be wrong though. But if I could find the set and do everything for less than $1000 it may help my bank account for a little while longer. Dang truck has been doing nothing but breaking lately

Two trucks I’ve driven during the over six years that I’ve been driving, the 2000 sterling and fld120 freightliner are very nice Airliner suspensions. I really like them. So simple to work on and nearly maintenance free.

The two Pete’s we have, have the two front and back parts that join by U-bolts over the axle. More complex to work on when service is needed.

The Ford I’m driving now, Hendrickson long leaf rear suspension.

Smooth until I drive into rough areas....

PRI Maxx is generally for off road, heavy haul applications. It will work on road trucks, but is severe over kill.

Primaxx doesn't have that stupid crossmember that neway has, they aren't copies, they have differences.

They're close but the Neway is definitely heavier. Primaax only has a transverse torque rod on top of the diff housing and the longitudinal arms are mounted above the main suspension beam, from hanger bracket to suspension tube. Neway just has a main beam from hanger to axle tube and both torque rods mounted to the top of the diff housing.

Make sure whatever you buy has the correct center to center on the spring pins and the proper spring width.

1322w is a wide track axle and the 1322I is a narrow track. I'd have to dig but rockwell makes a 5" drop as well. I can't find the axle number right now.

I'd prefer the Hendrickson style. On our old City weld flatbeds, they had a wishbone type torque rod setup and it was a headache all the time. It doesn't let the suspension flex like it's supposed to.

    AModelCat Thanks this.
