Almost same happening to me today...
Boss said they said to show up early.
    Got there at 6:00.
He said they won't start unloading till 8. Appointment 8. They'll get done at about 11.
I asked if I could drop trailer? He said no. I said I live here. Right up that hill. He said ok. Be back at 11. Dropped trailer at 6:30.
I may go back to sleep till 10.

“It puts the lotion on the skin, or else it gets the hose again.”

    BTW, In Arkansas
I555 N At MM 27ish (old 63) is closed due to wreck involving semi.

(Take 463 N through Trumann. don’t turn back left in town, defeat the purpose, go straight on 463 another 2-3 miles, puts you back on I555)

I have to go to the Weatherford Tx area to pick up a car and drive it home. No big deal normally. I told my wife we'll go Saturday and she can drive either car back. She said her back has been hurting too bad for her to do all of that riding/driving (true). So she suggested I get on the Grey dog and ride the bus. Told her no way I was going to be cooped up in any bus and it costs too much anyway. She got online and it was over $60.
So then she suggested I take the train. Amtrak stop is 30 miles closer to us than Greyhound anyway. She booked me to Ft Worth and said it only cost $22. Couldn't buy round trip gas for near that. I still not thrilled not taking a car but since she booked it and it's non refundable, I guess I'll be on a train Saturday morning.

Easily the thing that would make non-drivers lose their mind, and the freight industry just sits there like “whatever”. I love that they don’t even pretend to be sorry most of the time.

Unless you drive a tanker. They practically GROVEL if there's a delay on their part.

    I love it!

Nope, she wont let me do that. I start applying lotions and the next thing she knows all her clothes are off and she is begging for more.
