Amen brother, I was driving trucks at 17, interstate when I turned 21. Class 1 back in those days. Don't remember exactly when it turned into a Class A, but when it did, boy things sure did change fast. If I could do it all over again, would I, sure would...

CORRECT. Carrier has the authority to be more diligent with their logging rules, but can't lessen the requirements of FED RULES.
At a shipper/receiver, if you have no responsibility to the load, or load/unload process, you can legally be OFF DUTY. Most carriers agree with this explanation, they need their drivers to maintain hours to be able and ready to move.

I have never understood why so many people seem to make logging so confusing....it is actually common sense put to crayon.

I have no doubt there is some collusion in the upper echelons of the fmcsa, dot, mega co's and anyone else associated with them. Anyone is foolish to think otherwise, otherwise that'd be the only honest .gov agency to exist.

Every single one of us has been a lightning tarper at some point. Been a few times I managed to load, strap and tarp in 12 minutes. Had to take a 30 minute break afterwards before I started driving though, just done tuckered me out.

There’s a flaw that’s in @D.Tibbitt ’s statement and it’s that trannies’ don’t have balls to blow any tranny fluid on you lmfao all they have is a limp noodle, to quote the guy from, “The Green Mile”
