Smart.
And how hard is it, really, to scale the old fashioned way?
It takes all of 5 minutes to get on the scale and go in to get the ticket.
OK. Maybe 10 minutes.
But if the load timing is so tight that I don't have time to scale the load, there is something wrong in several areas of planning.

JB Hunt has an account so you put their pay info in the app when you first sign up. They also have an account with the pilot so you just enter a number at the fuel pump and don’t need a receipt. If all you have to do is scale and fuel you don’t have to go inside. It’s soooooo much better. Can’t tell you how much time I wasted waiting in line for a fricken fuel receipt at the T/A.

Use the app or don't use the app. Makes zero difference to me. I was just trying to help another driver with my initial post.Moosetek13 and FerrissWheel Thank this. -
always go there now since t/a and Petro in Ontario 're a pain to get a scaleFerrissWheel Thanks this. -
If you’re in a big hurry you can use the cat app to weigh then take a screen shot of the emailed receipt then send in all the paperwork through the Swift app including the scale ticket. That’s what I used to so.

Trying to deliver early does not always work.
It did (somewhat) for the driver before me at a Costco.
I got there at 1243 and said I am your 1300 delivery. They asked, 1300 or 1500? I said 1300.
They had no empty for me because they got confused with the driver that came in before me, thinking he was the 1300 delivery. That driver got my empty trailer, and so I had a live unload.
I don't jump the line. I get there at my appointment time. Anything else is rude.
That driver had backed up into the corner to park. He was still there after I had been unloaded.
He may still be sitting there.
But me?
I had my next load before they finished unloading me.
Karma wins out yet again.FerrissWheel Thanks this. -
