I run Maxima 12 Diode Peterbilt style lights for the cab/sleeper panels. Raneys will sell you then 8$/light if you buy in bulk. Soon to be 2 rows on those panels. Piranha 4” round red LEDS on back of sleeper with the stainless bezels with visor (18 total). Custom made mudflap bar with another 10 piranha LEDS. Though thinking about changing them and getting 15 of the lights with integrated reverse light. They also have the stainless covers. Lights and bezels from empire chrome. But in bulk and save $$$. Mudflap bar is 2 8” steel c-channels welded together. 1/8” diamond plate welded on ends.
Custom 22” stainless bumper from valley chrome. Custom stainless hexagonal pattern grille with polished aluminum 3/16” flat stock surround. Currently working on a 16” stainless drop visor and matching window chops. Visor will have 30 of the 12 diode Pete style lights.
12 GA stainless tool boxs from a 379. Stainless step pads with rubber on inside (don’t remember what brand). Stainless hub covers with cylinder push on nut covers.
Chrome 3-1/4” cylinder lug nut covers.
Pedastal lights for the mirrors and front bumper.
Custom stainless “air cleaner” brackets with 2” round lights (10 diode I believe).
5” stainless American eagle exhaust (believe that’s the brand. Got them from chrome depot in mantua Ohio).
Stainless coolant tubes and stainless intake/exhaust pipes. Working on stainless valve covers.
Inside the only chrome/aluminum are the instrument cluster (1/4” aluminum plate sanded smooth and polished) and gauge bezels with visors. Stainless long toggle switch extensions. Stainless air brake knobs (don’t remember the style, they look like motorcycle grips). Everything else inside is painted with high gloss finish.
Aside from buying lights, basic chrome items and front bumper, everything else I buy from online metals and fabricate.
Chrome keeps me going since there’s always that itch to want more.Tug Toy Thanks this. -
Howdy All,
When I bought my Pete, a couple of years back it was kinda rough but as time went on I worked on cleaning it up, this photo was taken after I built the Smart Car deck and shined it up a bit, I am trying to make it more and more presentable. It's getting there, added the graphics seen in the signature photo about 6 months ago..
