    Here's what i know,
At very random times the light/message/ code, will come across the dash. The temp gage is still showing good temp. And to the best of my knowledge is working like it should

The coolant level is fine. The boss replaced the actual sensor in what I'm guessing is the resavor tank. And refilled it to the right level. The code is still there.
I unplugged the sensor. And zip tied it out of the way.
I'm sitting on a 48 hour restart. I plan on plugging in the sensor and attempting to clear the code. Via power off for 15 mins. Cycle the key three times, then start it on the fourth cycle.
If this does not work. What is the next step?
    2016 cascadia, automatic.
    Thanks in advance.

Don't worry about temp gauge to low coolant.

The alarms are set for 2 quarts low. Give or take.

Trucks hold 13ish gallons. Give or take.

If the problem is fixed. I beleive the code will eventually disappear. I could be wrong though.

Codes stay if the problem stays active. No need for code if it's no longer active.

Trucks usually shut down too when the alarms come on. My 07 dings, lights on, and shuts down when it's 2 quarts low.

those units need filled above line. when doing a park regen. the water pump sucks it pass the low coolant sensor. keep it about 1 inch above line and you wont have anymore problems.

Can also be a bad wire.
You can drive fine with the sensor disconnected, just the check engine light will shine.
Once fixed the light will go out on its own within three driving cycles or sooner.

Trying the reset. Did not work.
The fluid is full to the full cold line.
After I eat. I will see how far back I can trace the wires to see if they are broke.
Still getting the red stop engine light

I pulled the wires from the plastic houseing as far back as I could. I didn't see a break. So in the next week or two looks like he's putting it in the shop.

Do you still get the stop light even with the plug disconnected from the sensor?
