Coolant level low warning light,

Here's what i know,
At very random times the light/message/ code, will come across the dash. The temp gage is still showing good temp. And to the best of my knowledge is working like it should

The coolant level is fine. The boss replaced the actual sensor in what I'm guessing is the resavor tank. And refilled it to the right level. The code is still there.
I unplugged the sensor. And zip tied it out of the way.
I'm sitting on a 48 hour restart. I plan on plugging in the sensor and attempting to clear the code. Via power off for 15 mins. Cycle the key three times, then start it on the fourth cycle.
If this does not work. What is the next step?

Trying the reset. Did not work.
The fluid is full to the full cold line.
After I eat. I will see how far back I can trace the wires to see if they are broke.
Still getting the red stop engine light

 

I pulled the wires from the plastic houseing as far back as I could. I didn't see a break. So in the next week or two looks like he's putting it in the shop.

 

Ok different question. When I check the oil. I Usally let it sit with the engine off for 25 mins or so. Or first thing in the mornings. Does the spy also Have to Not be ran.?
