I've got a 670 with meritor MT40 axles and a 12.5k lb front Volvo axle. Is there any easy way to find part numbers for brake shoes that'll fit? Will most shoes have a stamped part number on the side if I crawled under?

Possibly you will see a number stamped on the shoe. Some shoes use a sticker with a barcode stuck on when new. That sticker is probably ruined or gone by now. Why not use your VIN number from the truck itself?
