Did you try Western Express or Steven's Transport? On the job board here, I think Werner and Melton also hired out of FL

    ThomasTrucker21 Thanks this.

I will try them. Tried to get some information from Western Express but they told me I needed to submit an app first so I’ll do that

Whatever you do. Don't accept a job with BillyBob's Alligator Eatery. Their drivers disappear. They don't quit. They aren't fired. They just disappear into thin air? :dontknow:

Seriously.... National Carriers as I understand is a good company. A division of National Beef. Talked with a driver for them. Said liked it. One time the night/weekend dispatchers screwed up her forward scheduling. Her Manager took care of it. No more of that BS. ....

Yeah everything he told me sounded good as far as a starter company would go so we’ll see what they say about my misdemeanor

    WesternPlains Thanks this.

I looked at National Carriers. Their hiring criteria gives a little room for error. Western Express isn't bad to start. I broke into the industry with them. I did fine there. Cpm is low, but they got the miles. I got my experience and moved on after about a year. Submit an app anyway....always keep your options open.

How long ago was that. Their website just says “one of the best in the industry” lol same for training. And I’m definitely keeping my options open. I actually asked Chinatown for some lower second chance companies just in case.

I'm in FL also. TMC and Werner were willing to hire me, however I live way down south and I don't want to drive/bus/plane on my own dime that far. So it depends if you are close to their terminal or not.
