Paid for reserve spot at Pilot a few hours prior to arrival tonight.
Get here all reserve spots full and create your own parking dumped all over the place.
Even with lot full they still showed 5 reserve spots available.
I said this is BS and you need to get unpaid trucks out the paid spots, they said nope they are not allowed to get unpaid trucks out of reserved parking or even go knock on their door.
I said well what is the point then of reserved paid parking when you will let people park there for free and screw over the drivers that paid ahead of time.
Was told sorry there is nothing they can do besides offer a refund.
That doesn't help I'm here now and I'm out of hours and need to be rolling asap in morning.

So much for truck stops caring about drivers and valuing business.
Reserved parking is just a money grab scam.

When you find yourself in that situation, Get the Truck stop 4 or 5 digit Ident. number. Call Corporate office and Open a complaint against the Location. (See what happens)

I was at the T/A in Northbend, Wa. a while back. I knew i wasn't going to get there until 1830 or so and reserved a spot that morning. Got there when i thought I would and found only one spot left and parked, then went inside to register. They give you a receipt to put on your windshield. As I'm walking back to my truck I see a young man knocking on doors of trucks not displaying receipt that are parked in reserved spots. I watched 5 or 6 trucks vacate those spots and was glad to see it, happy to see a t/s hold their end of the bargain.
Parking is at a premium in a lot of areas in this country, If you haven't figured this out yet as a driver you need to. Please plan ahead!

Sounds like the employee was not doing their job. At both Pilot and T/A’s in various locations, I have seen employees checking the reserved/paid parking areas for receipts for parking.

White pine is a different area of ethics. You try that out in Denver, Co pilot you'll get moved by the security guard. The employee you encountered just wasn't doing their job
