Oversize bushings are a joke. How bout you fix the manufacturing problem with the springs instead of cheaping out and coming up with an alternative fix to save your face so you dont have to recall 12000 springs.

We did find a few of these shifted on fairly new trucks but never had to order the oversize bush. Imagine trying to sort that mess out 20 years down the road.

Back about 14 years ago there was a run of trucks Kenworth built that had the wrong interaxle shafts in them. My dad had one of them. Went to back up to the loader one morning when the truck was fairly new, there was a bit of a hole in the road. Center drive and front drive ended up at opposite extremes. Slip yoke pulled out ALMOST to the end, splines chewed up and wrecked the shaft. Had to limp home empty with the power divider locked in.

I had a Mack with the grey e7 475 it was 21,000 for the crate reman ended up being 28,000 including labor replaced the radiator, water pump etc. Had a 3 yr unlimited warranty. Everything was done at the Mack dealer. SO all dealerships are not stealerships

    2013 oil patch truck.

We had a new truck shift a bushing and put in the oversize one.
I think if I remember right there was some springs bending and shifting airbags back in 2012 or so and they tried to get us to shim them first before agreeing to replace them.

We had two 2016 389's that shifted early in life, they ended up putting spring and hangers on them. I always replace with the Clevite anti-walk bushings, and they offer oversize bushings before Paccar parts offered it. I would still take low air leaf over flex air. Wish I had pictures of them when they stretch a u-bolts. Beam has to come off to press or 20lb sledge them out and 7/8 bolt in beam to spring pivot usually takes 30-50 ton to break loose.

It's not DAF's engine designer's fault they put a truck around it!

I think my favorite is the perfect alignment of the air compressor oil supply tube/access plug with the framerail flange Its so spot on, sometimes I swear they were aiming to line it up.
