    Good day truckers!

I just passed my AZ road test on 27th July (2 days ago!) here in Ontario.
I have been to few big carriers who Normally hire and train new drivers, but now they aren't because they say no trainer is willing to be in the truck with another person during covid.

So any leads on who is hiring new drivers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Try applying at some building materials companies. Companies like BMC, 84 Lumber, Builders First Source or even try calling local hardware stores in your area and ask if they’re hiring cdl drivers. A lot of those places are experiencing surges in business related to the virus and people staying home working on projects and renovations etc.

Building supplies you have to be fit or your career will be short. Not all the drywall goes up to second story with a lift. Food supply companies are a good option but again its physical,,,you''ll maintain your girlish figure. One of our young drivers went to Gordons 5 years ago and feels he got the tiger by the tail. Short haul, home daily, scheduled. I commend him for his diligence.

You'll be back. 9-5 gets old and $15 an hr is poverty wages.
