So.

I tried to be nice today.
It backfired worse than..
well close to anyway.

Anywho, yes I was going to be nice and go grocery shopping with the ole lady, which I already knew was goin to suck big time. (Remember a month or so ago the last trip to the Wal*Mart)
But we were going to take her car, since the bed of my truck has a drive tire and my toolbox in it, so in her words, “Big freakin’ truck full of junk and nothing fits.”

So, we take off in her car, with her driving.
Then she turned on the radio, some sucky song was on, then commercials about acid indigestion relief, then the DJ says, “An hour long music uninterrupted, are you guys ready to rock?”

I think, hey, she must’ve found a new station cause usually her music is awful.
I’m ready for rock!! AC/DC, the stones, Metallica, NO!
The first “Are you ready to rock song.”
The Eagles Peaceful Easy Feeling, and to me a WTH, I’m not ready to rock and headband to this.
The second worthless song. “Go away little Girl.”
I googled to find it was Donny osmond, if you care. I’m getting aggravated, still quiet though.
Then “Bye Bye Love- Everly Brothers.

I couldn’t help myself.
“Wtf are we listening too? I mean cmon, I can’t take much more of this, it’s worse than bathroom music at a truck stop.
We’re either going to have to turn this [Censored..] off or you can take me back home or let me out and I’ll walk back home, this is ridiculous.”

So.
We ride in silence to town, and you know when she’s mad, only direct “Yes/No I don’t care.” answers to questions.

So, she didn’t want to drive back, so I drove home, turned the radio on, changed the station and the song on that station was Patsy Cline “I fall to pieces.”
I turned off the radio and we rode in silence.

Her answer might not be able to typed but it sounded something “Hrmph..”

 

Amazingly I read this and think your wife is a great person, for putting up with your bad attitude and worse music.

 

It may be off topic for this thread at this point but expect blowing snow and accumulation of up to 8 inches across Wyoming tommorow though Tuesday.

Lots of campers and boats will be on the road too so if you can take your 36 it would be a good idea to do so.

 

I'm driving into it in Just an hour, should make Wamsutter.

I am to set in my ways to change, there is somethings I can’t/won’t do.
One is listen to awful music.
The station could’ve been changed, turned off or take me back home.
