You're so right -- the big playas are so full of themselves AND something else. My appt. at Coke yesterday was at 1400. I arrived around 1325. They say that their computer shows my appt. time is 1500 but I can go on in because they need the tea. I bump the dock approximately 1340. There's only one other rig there waiting to be unloaded. What happens for the next hour and 20 minutes? Nothing. But at precisely 1500 I feel the trailer start shaking and they finally get to work. I guess they showed me who's boss.

Dang man that's a bummer. How's your week going? How's everyone's week going? I'm on a break in Jonestown, PA. They threw a twist on me. I dropped off in Palmyra at like 3 am. I grabbed an empty out of there and went to Jonestown to load. They took me way early. I took a chance since I've never been there and got lucky. I like those customers that will load early if they aren't busy

We had a slow week. Had to go back to yard cuz turbo was puking oil. Someone rolled the gasket when they ran the overhead an didn't get it back together right. Ya would a thought they'd a seen the oil mess monday when they serviced the truck. I found it monday night in dallas on my post trip. We're in Minnesota now after having rescued a coke load last night from a driver that had a medical problem. They checked him out at hospital. A buddy of mine. Good news it was just muscle spasm an not a heart issue after all. We're starting the coming week with a phoenix after we drop in edwardsville tonight.

Ahhh man I hope that driver makes it ok!!!! Did they have to replace the turbo or was it a quick fix?

No it wasn't bad. Nate just had to take something apart , install a new gasket , an put it back together. Turned a 4 hour plus fix into an hour fix. They also put steers on here an did an alignment. I asked chris for some better looking steer rims and he said that they had some decent recently polished ones an that he'd have them put on. I guess the 2 guys doin the work didn't get the memo cuz they put junk rims back on. And yea my buddy was fine. It just ended up being a muscle spasm in the chest area. His heart was good.

We stopped at pilot near Alexandria mn to scale load. A driver had gotten fuel there then he pulled forward an stopped. Poor guy didn't make it out of the truck. He had a sudden heart attack an died right there. That was rather a sad moment. R.I.P. fellow brother trucker!!!

My first day back was pretty much consumed by a shipper called Americold in Lula GA. That along with Atlanta traffic and all I managed was 280 miles. They have me dropping this in St Charles and hooking to some spuds bound for Chester NY. Y'all been? I always get a queasy feeling when the directions tell me to turn onto a street and then make a U-Turn. I'd really prefer not to. Oh well, don't suppose driving would be much fun if there wasn't some potential disaster lurking at every turn.

That's a new one for me....its probably a designated U turn, or one of those like in New Jersey. I'd trust the directions. For the most part Climate gives spot on directions. The pickup I had today was a rare miss. They gave me non truck route directions, I sent them a message giving them the correct route. If you're unsure, go to Google maps and put it to satellite mode and scope out the area some. I do that when trip planning
