Can someone explain Heniff's Insurance and how it differs from Superiors? They have open enrollment approaching and I want to know how this will affect me and mine.

I contacted Heniff HR and was told to call Sisco to enroll @ 855-447-4726 ext 4444, which I did yesterday. You'll get someone to walk you through the entire enrollment, be prepared to spend at least 30 minutes or longer on the phone, and have pen paper with u.
Absolutely everything is separate with Heniff
Cost of coverage weekly is about
PPO .... $116.53
Dental 11.44
Vision 2.17
Short term disability 12.74
Long term disability. 8.24
We waived these....
Then there's an accidental life plan $4.68
Critical Illness 14.31
Health savings account
Life Ins
We ended up with about $151 coming out of our check weekly for the same thing we had under Superior for about $116. Everything seems to be pretty much the same except the deductible is higher, I think it's now $2kRockinChair Thanks this. -
You should also be getting a handbook in the mail that explains the benefits. Also you'll have until the 30th to make changes, after that you're stuck with your choices -
I've been trying to keep an open mind about this merger w/ the understanding that there would be growing pains along the way but presumably the end whole would be greater than the parts. Unfortunately after 10+ months though it seems like all of the trends are going in the wrong direction w/ the ongoing issues w/ payroll glitches, computer system integration issues that are affecting dispatch and the general lack of communication as to new procedures and day-to-day functions for the front line workforce. -
The benefits are not as good as Superiors. You will be roughly paying about 70-90 more than you pay now weekly depending on what you paid before. Health has a few plans. The extras are adds on.
Heniff has really failed so for about $200.00 weekly families can get a similar plan to what they had with superior. They roughly paid 120 weekly with superior. With more employees, you would think you can negotiate a better plan.
The pay is concerning. The company is really hushed with their purchased drivers. Time will tell if this ends up like every other tanker company. How many terminals have been integrated with Heniff so far? Or vice versus?DEllis Thanks this. -
What made you move on? Just curious. -
Anyone got a list of who is out of Superior so far? I'm wondering if they are replacing Superior staff with Heniff.
