In Reno, came from SLC yesterday. Can make it in just under 8 hours if you don't stop, which I did, 3 minutes to spare. This terminal they want you to go clockwise, because of it's design (small). Had 3 hours too go, was thinking Sacramento. But they were in a cluster **** , so off to bed. Next? LA, Vegas then Cedar City, or right back to SLC. Well see. Went to Missoula a few days back, nice little run from SLC and back the next day.

Exactly this. Linehaul is exciting. You can really make some money, and run some miles. At ABF, I ended up making so much money I stopped wanting to run hard. Lol unfortunately, that's not how that company works. You're going to work whether you want to or not.

Sometimes I wish I had been on this board back when I was young and hungry. It really could have been something. Lol

I was a demon when I was younger. All kinds of questionable legality.

Just means you will make a little more money from yard work as opposed to mileage pay. It still adds up.

You wont loose money. RL is pretty low compared to the rest. Hotel is better than a bouncing sleeper lol. Well some are. .72cpm top rate plus paid hooks and break for sets. Trucks little more junky over at big E. Lot more retarded on paperwork vs RL. Pros and cons to each but the $ prolly more at big E if you wanna run. Plus NO TEAMS!!!!!

A lot of us were there at some point.

When I started out on flatbed work I was running outlaw at roughly 80 hours in 5 days.

I couldn't take that for too long.

There may have been a situation where I got into a pissing match with my team partner at a company that no longer exists, and drove 875 miles in one sitting in a 62 mph truck to prove a point.

    That may have happened.

Does that also translate to "certain people will work whether they want to or not"?
