So neither driver followed the permits?
Bud A., LtlAnonymous and alds Thank this. -
Whoa, that 1st guy was a bad boy, tries to flee with an overweight, over height truck, Jesse James would be proud. Seems to me, if 2 trucks hit the same bridge, sounds like bogus height on the books. With as bad as things are, do you think Texas would do that intentionally to get their crumbling bridges repaired?

That bridge is marked 15'9".... how tall were these two loads????? You absolutely can't go down the road at 16' without knowing your height, you will definitely hit things. I get the one guy being local figured he knew his way around, he didn't need a stinking permit, but he at least has to know how tall he is before trying it.
Bud A., 201, LtlAnonymous and 8 others Thank this. -
Wow 15'9 and still hit it? And hit it good! Bridge strikes suck.....I had a pole car in front of me about a year ago and swiped a bridge.......needless to say yes, pole car was let go on the spot.
Bud A., LtlAnonymous, lovesthedrive and 7 others Thank this.
