Has anyone successfully removed their sleeper curtains on a W900L or even a T660 with the Aerocab? I never use them as I have full window coverings and it just opens up the cab so much more. curtain 1.jpg

I bought some of that silver reflective material that a sunshade is usually made out of, you can be in it length at Ace or Home Depot, I then cut it into the exact windshield size (2) and daylight door window size. I'm completely closed in with barely a thread of outdoor light coming in when they're up, that's why I want to take the curtains down.

I wish it was easy.... you have to remove the closet hinge to remove the curtain

I never even thought of looking there, it does seem like it's tucked in pretty well in the seams of the wall, I figured I was going to have to cut it neatly with a razor. Going to take a closer look now as I have no need for them at all.

Please don't cut it out. The next owner will thank you. Kenworth is very proud of that curtain to the tune of $600+

LOL, I have no intentions on selling her, she's paid for! although I wish she was a Studio, but man that curtain is in there good. I haven't tackled it.....yet.

The top of the curtain is the toughest part on the closet side. That shelf needs to come loose as well to get the final screw out. Not sure what you have on the right side (I had 2 closets) but there are 8 or 9 screws per side. It's definitely a PitA, but you might be able to sell them for $200-300 if they're still in good condition.

My right and left sides are identical. So that top shelf/storage bin that you can see a little of in the pics needs to be unscrewed? How about down the sides where the cab and sleeper meet? Is that where those 8-9 screws are at? 500944-Z82.jpg 500944-Z83.jpg

The shelf should only require removing the one screw that's in line with the curtain. The gusset that runs the length of the curtain is 1" - 1½" wide. And, yes, the screws should be evenly spaced top to bottom.
