Thank you everyone for your replies and advice! I am currently looking at some companies out of Romulus which isn't too far from me.

I thought SRT opened a new terminal in Tennessee. I think I read that Covenant bought Landair in Greenville, Tennessee and also put SRT there after closing the Texarkana terminal.

Now as mentioned, SRT is long gone as I'm now at the abortion known as Star. They are now in the process of being "consolidated " into LandAir as am I. I'm in the process of leaving actually. I've had them splitting my trips only to find out I was never supposed to have my trips split at ALL. This about sent me into financial ruin if not for my extensive crunching of numbers. Then I've had them threaten me numerous times. The first being my annual update with the company and signing up for the Clearinghouse (was in the process of doing this). The second one was over paperwork that I'd sent in twice already and they weren't clear about what they really wanted (This is important later). Both times, they'd threatened to withhold dispatch from me. Mind you, I run MY own truck, not theirs. Not to mention why they put a positive settlement on my stubs and didn't pay me. This was in July and they barely work three days a week in payroll. When asking my now former DM, he wanted to ignore me until I told him I wasn't moving this truck until it was figured out. He all but said he wasn't concerned of my family ate or not. He proceeded to mouth off in text messages and said he'd tell the company I'd quit despite me never saying that. He just said he considered my not moving MY truck due to no pay just that. I told him he might could delete his phone but couldn't delete mine and I'd have his ### fired and sue him. He had his boss call me wanting to know why and I told him. I then told him that the next time he threatened or cussed me out on my phone again, he'd look up and see me on LA Vergne, TN. That was just the first time.

The second time, was over the aforementioned paperwork. First, they said they couldn't read it. Then they complained because of a clipped corner. As you'll see in the pictures below, I explained that I'd have to find it among all of the other batches of paperwork. Not once did they say "the customer was being finicky". So I called again and asked what the threats were about to which point the son of a ##### got defensive and tried to yell. I told him to remove the bass from his voice to which he called me everything but a child of God. He then hung up. I called his boss again livid and told him the situation. I even explained that I was going to ask if they wanted colored photos instead to which he agreed. I told him he needed to do something about that guy for a second time and even told him this time, I was coming to the yard and this ####### was going to meet my socket wrench. I was moved to another fleet. It's been OK so far, but I'm not planting grass here. They even quit paying me the extra for hazmat after I got my own truck. I found that out this past Wednesday. The claim I never got the extra pay for it when I know for a fact I did at SRT.

In closing, I'd Iike to thank you @Chinatown for trying to help the new and otherwise displaced drivers as I was, find a job. This is the one time I have to disagree with you. In the last month, I've watched several drivers leave Star for miles or lack thereof. I'm also here to tell you about some of the abusive tactics they have within. It's a ###### shame when you have to reference that ugly situation from Knight all of those years ago. TTR can hate on SRT all they want, but I can guarantee you I wasn't being cheated out of money and dogged out as a driver the 2.5 years I had the pleasure of being a driver with them.

SRT is long gone. Former driver here. I even gave a few good reasons above to avoid the rest of the Covenant Transportation Group.

So is Covenant the head honcho and Landair and Star fall under? I see the decals are changing on all the SRT trucks to either Star or Covenant.

Yes. Covenant is consolidating all of them. I was an SRT driver and was shoved to Star Transportation. After 11/2/2020, Star will be Landair. I'm not sticking around for it to fully be Covenant.
