Does Crete sell used trucks at their Tennessee terminal? I live about 100 miles from there. I have considered buying another truck. New is expensive these days.

I believe so. There were 30 or so trucks de-stickered and sitting in the back lot by the gate. The orientation guy called it the sales lot.

I am on a 750 mile run, drop and hook at both ends that delivers tomorrow, followed by a 2450 mile run that is a live load and unload going to SoCal for Thursday.

I hope they keep you busy. They do have a good pay rate.
I pulled the Crete vans for 18 years.
Maybe there will be a reefer in my future.
    Grocery warehouses didn't bother me.

Btw, is Crete/Shaffer going to allow their drivers to split their breaks under the new hos rules.
I hated the 14 hour rule.
I like to stop for a nap if needed and not lose my work time.

I'm not sure, but I don't see why they wouldn't since it's all electronically calculated. The old days on paper, drivers could screw it up too easily, but now the all knowing box keeps track.

    Casimir66 and Lonesome Thank this.

Crete trucks for sale ..cost between 50 to 70 thousand..depending on mileage and year ..with around 500,000 miles .... maintenance in bare minimum...just enough to keep warranty valid

    Casimir66 Thanks this.
