This truck stop has the highest parking fee of any truck stop I've ever seen: $27.50! And that's just for 24 hours! Usually when an independent truck stop requires you to pay for parking, I give them the benefit of the doubt and figure it's just so they can stay in business with the big chains. But this place is overcharging and fleecing the truck drivers who are working so hard to support America during this pandemic. So stay away from this place, truck drivers!

It’s supply and demand out in that area. At least the lot is paved now, back in the day it had holes big enough to lose a truck in.
bthomann and LoSt_AgAiN Thank this. -
That doesn’t seem to be outrageous considering the neighborhood.

That place way always dumpy. The parking demand is high in that area, so close to the city...

I stayed at the Holiday Inn across the street once and woke up in the morning, pulled the curtains and there it was in all its glory: the snow covered Mount Ranier in the distance.

I deliver down the road to Costco alot (currently here for my 3rd straight trip in 3 weeks. Love this trip). But I stay 40 miles away in North Bend. Even if I don't get one of the 20 free spots, it's $20 to park. Got there early enough that I think I would have had enough time to get a spot in Sumner but hate to risk it and have nowhere else to go.
$27 is ridiculous but since it's the only spot, I can see it. Just wish they had more food choices in the areaDale thompson and bthomann Thank this.
