Twisted straps were singing in the wind

    This is the first time the direction of the twist has been brought to my attention. I don’t remember but I betcha I made a little strap sail with the twist and that was the cause. Excellent work detective shaker

    I was taken out of service for twisted straps. Asked the officer to show me in the book and it’s in there.

    Twisted straps vs one half twist on each side of the load when securing by indirect method are two different things..

    Post link to regulation stating otherwise please..

    Yeah this is all new to me as well. I always thought twisted straps were from lazy drivers that didn't give a ####. Learn something everyday. Thought I read something years ago that twists in the straps lowers their braking point. Any truth to that?
