Depending on your Truck, or location of the bag, you may need a T or an elbow. Do yourself and get new compression fittings with it. Or at least new ferrules for the plastic lines. Should be able to cut the ends off, start fresh. New fittings, ferrules make the job much easier. Dealer sells the proper fittings. Their long on one side, especially made for air bags.

Kenworth dealer and the Pete Store stocks TRP drums that are cut balanced and made in the USA. I can't see them being junk if being sold by the dealers. They also come with a one year warranty.

    BRAKE DRUM - 16.5" X 7" - BALANCED

I didn't know that. It would certainly explain their quality then.

Was thinking about this thread yesterday..

Went to buy a air-dryer cartridge from Peterbilt...

    TRP was $47 Bendix $113...

I asked parts guy what gives?

He tells me we have had 3 or 4 trucks in the shop here that have had the TRP cartridge explode causing all those little balls to go into the system... So you wanna know what the final cost was on top of that $47?

    LOL, Hell NO!!!

I'll gladly take the $113 Bendix!!!
