Don't distract yourself by looking for the light switch. If it's not convenient to turn off/on, just let it go.
We are (in theory anyway) professionals. We know when it's safe to get over without your help.
Don't get me wrong, thanks for the thought, but I'd rather use my judgement especially if it causes you to not be concentrating on the road.

I have a travel trailer now but am working my way up to a class a motor home. I figure if I buy my 50 gallons of diesel I get my free spot to park too. As far as I know if the truck stop doesn’t want rvs there they can say so.

I do not care if I see an RV in a parking spot, keyword is A, being single, not set up across 3
Also keep ####ing right except to pass....TheLoadOut Thanks this. -
Although I do have a CDL, and at one time I thought I wanted to work a 70 hour week for $13/hr, I am an avid RVer. So I’m conflicted.
The thought of taking up a parking space at a truck stop never crossed my mind. However, I pull into the rest areas and slide into those long, slanted spaces for trucks all the time.
The only trucker who ever give me crap about it was a 400 lb homeboy wearing Lucchese cowboy boots and a pink tutu (with no panties on underneath), who introduced himself as “Big Luther.”
I know he had no panties on because he did an arabesque, followed by an impossible, slow motion grand jute (l’accent aigu on the E).
The 24 rapid succession pirouettes that knocked over trash receptacles and left summer sausage-shaped dents in the vending machines was all it took for me to abandon my family on the spot and become a Stevens Transport trainee.
The last thing my wife of 26 years heard was, “mind if I dance wiff yo date?”Trucking in Tennessee Thanks this. -
MericanMade and p608 Thank this.
