    I watched it again. It’s a tread seperation. You can see the wheel assembly bouncing before the rupture.

    I’ve never had a front tire blow on any pickup or passenger vehicle that I’ve owned.

    Do they lose control like that pickup in the video like the big trucks do?

    Best way to avoid total loss of control in a steer blowout is hammer the throttle and accel so it lifts the weight off the front.

    That is why running on the governor or max cruise control is unsafe.

    Anytime someone passes me or I pass and hear a tire thumping or see it bouncing I back out or accel past.
