I'll stick with my 4.9mpg and my truck that only does what I tell it to. That kinda new 'technology' blows my mind...

You’re far from the only one. Dumbing the truck down only means the driver eventually follows.

That way the big fleets have a nearly endless pool of potential employees.

Crete trucks have the manual mode disabled. We watched a video on how to set it up to come down a steep grade with these new automated POS's...I prefer my manual. Came down Cabbage with 45k lbs over the weekend, 55 mph and in the correct gear, used all jake, not one bit of service brake. This Cummins has a strong Jake, had to keep cycling it from high back to medium and back to high because high slowed me down too much and medium wasn't enough.

Yeah you’re going to love the coast feature on the new Crete trucks. Any slight downgrade and it starts to “coast”your speed drops and that 63 mph Prime truck behind you pulls out to pass. It’s going to make us real popular.

Only took 6 hours to get in a Love's shop and have a brake chamber replaced. Considering how busy they were, that wasn't bad. A spring broke inside the thing, it sounded like a maraca when he shook it. He said Crete breakdown wanted pictures...how the *bleep* do you take pictures of the inside of a brake chamber. He just took l pictures of the cage bolt hole and sent it to them.

Hopefully they'll let me keep my Cummins International a while, it only has 400k on it.

Obviously Crete has people in breakdown that have no mechanical knowledge of any kind when it comes to trucks for them to sit there and ask them for a picture of the spring broke LOL

See if they’ll put you in one of the new international LT ‘s that they’re getting... I know those have a Cummins in it

As long as it has a manual, I'd be ok with it...otherwise, Freightliner is my last choice.

My truck, 2020 Cascadia Auto does that. It’s a PITA....
But.... I’m averaging 10.1 mpg... so it’s understandable (I do haul a lot of light loads)
