    UPDATE

It was the tensioner pulley on the main belt. I pulled it off, and spun it by my ear. Bearing felt and sounded perfect. Opened it up, and bearing was dry as a bone. Elastomer seal was hard and brittle. Instead of putting some grease in it, I figured it had had enough, and bought a new one. Noise gone.

For anyone trying to open up that Dayco tensioner pulley, you need to drill a hole in the front of the pulley to expose a Torx bolt. Run that off, and the pulley comes right off. Snap ring on the back, and you're ready to press out the bearing, if that's what you want to do. Don't try to "pull" the pulley. The way it's fastened, it won't pull. You have to unbolt it.

I mounted that box in the little picture. Couldn't pass it up. Marked down to $400. Made of 1/8 steel, greaseable hinges, and very nice. New cab air bags and governor as well. I also set up a dump valve for the rear axle on my spread that I can control with the trailer aux switch on my dash.

Yeah we're not even set up with cheap and heavy. TQL on the other hand we've probably pulled a dozen loads for them all paying well above market. Might be one of the few lucky ones not to have an issue with them other than 1 cancelled load

I'd like that, but I'm just not set up for aluminum. I really need to buy an aluminum spool gun, but I'd also need bottles.

These are cheap, tou can get better for a few more bucks, but it will help you find bad bearings and such. You may think a bearing is good but put this on it when it's hot and running g and the difference between good and bad becomes obvious quickly.
Great for alternators also, anything that makes a noise really.
