Are you accusing the staff of applying a double standard in your case? I don't see that at all.

You wanted the thread closed because you're taking a beating for your ideas and procedures. I think the thread can stay open for awhile as long as the personal insults...on both sides...stop.

Still nonsensical in my opinion. Save points that you do accrue and pay outright for shower if not enough points. Either way you’re still paying. Asking for access to someone else’s points is in essence asking them to give you a handout. I know you offered to pay them but at that point we’re right back to square one, you paying for a shower.

His name could be sarcasm. I speak it fluently.

But back to his story.. The only thing I can think of, is hes paying someone cheaper than what a shower costs, like 5.00, saving Rich Trucker 7.00. And the fellow helping him out earns 5.00 off of a point he would never use.

That screenshot he was talking about, I dont know what information is displayed on that screen. An account number maybe? Then he gets the phone number through a text with that screenshot. Thats probably all thats needed to spend points?

This does not seem unethical to me .
    Am I missing something?

    Yeah. Most scams appear innocent.

I was wondering what information is displayed in that screenshot he was asking for. Does it show an account number, can he get the account number from that barcode? If so he now has the account number and the phone number because that screenshot will probably be texted same number on account.

So I think thats all the info you need to spend points. I could be wrong, but my assumption is you dont need your card.

So it would then come down to, do you trust the guy?

I don’t think it’s unethical, it’s convoluted and weird. I have no problem helping people out but this just seems odd. Like the day I got off I-71 in Kentucky between Louisville and Cinci. There was a guy and a gal with a couple of kids saying they need gas money and he was in the navy trying to get to his base. I rolled the window down and said “hey, you got enough gas to get over to that station? Pull in there and I’ll pay for a fill up”. His response was, “no, car is full of gas I just want some gas money”. I rolled my window up and drive away
