I’m trading trucks and would like to know everyone’s opinion on these two APU’s. I have a Carrier now it’s done good, just looking at the TK because of the inverter option to be installed with the TK and the Carrier dealer I use does not offer that option. I appreciate any help in advance guys.

I have two TK's. Two other trucks have Rig Master's.

It's all junk made in Taiwan.

    Espar bunk heater for cold
Bump idle for ac for over night
Find hotel with pool and bar for longer than overnight.

Other option would be a roof mount with a generator, but by the time you break even on an apu it will be scrap

they are junk that constantly break down and are expensive to repair, by the time you “save” enough money by saving a quarter of a gallon of fuel a night the unit will be worthless

the bunk heaters do work well for the cooler weather though and will run all night on about a quart of fuel, anything much below the teens/single digits you are going to idle anyways so you don’t gel up

I don't think you ever bought a new Apu.

I'm having deja vu. Haven't we discussed APU's about 3 times lately?

I don’t know, had a TK that I put on 3 different trucks got 29k hours out of it
Keep up maintenance, check Freon level yearly and regular service and belts every year
