Don't let those little setbacks get you down.

My sister had a dry spell of a couple years.
Last week she went in and grabbed nearly 3 grand with minimal effort.

My plan is always a hit and run.
    Go in with 40 bucks.
Quick loss or a quick score, because most times I hit a jackpot within the first 20 minutes.
More than that and I am just feeding the system.

The fun factor remains active when you expect to win or lose quickly, and then walk away just as quickly.
Get in and go out a little poorer, or a lot richer, all within 30 minutes.

    dptrucker and dwells40 Thank this.

I delivered a load to the Walmart DC in North Platte, NE today. The guy told me where to look for mt's and there was only one in that zone, and I could not pull the tandem release. I passed on it.
As I was bobtailing out I was given a list of all the mt trailers and the zones they were parked in.

That is probably the smallest Walmart DC I have been to. And very full.
I was told which zones to park my loaded trailer, and handed a slip of paper that let me specify which zone I actually parked it in if the other zones were full. And they were both full.

Nice of them to give me a list and where to find them, and I suspect they really need to get some mt's out of there.

Seems a lot of drivers are being sent to the Costco here because they are so backed up.
I took a load up to Fargo, ND and deadheaded back today.
I was stuck with a refer from Fargo, which was OK because I was taking it back to Costco.
I bobtailed out waiting for the next load.

    No pplan though.
After a few hours I got a pplan, but for an Amazon load picking up in WI - on the 22nd at 1700.
    Today is the 20th.
    I ignored it.

Then at around 1800 I got a Costco pplan going to Lenexa, KS for tomorrow.
    Took that one.
It was scheduled to pick up today at 1500, and I'm wondering why it wasn't sent to me until 1800.
I was sitting at Costco at 1500.

    dptrucker Thanks this.

My next load is picking up in Hannibal, MO and going straight back to Owatonna. Costco.

I countered the delivery time from 0600 to 0900 and it was removed, until my TM called me to say that the times were OK.
Not my DM or FM, the TM! He said he would add a note saying the delivery time was approved because he could not change it on the plan.

Glad I did that 0900 delivery time. My delivery at the Costco in Kansas turned into a live unload that took some time.

Just hoping I can get a shower tomorrow. I'm overdue, and these Costco loads seem to leave me in places where I can't get one.

That load from Hannibal was 34,340 pounds on the drives with the tandems all the way forward.
Today being a Sunday I figured the scales between here and there would be closed so I rolled with it.
I stopped at the Love's in Floyd, IA for the night, and got my shower - Yay.

As I came back out there was a Swift in the the fuel lane. It had the same seal as mine, a blue cable seal.
Perhaps it is another load from Hannibal to Owatonna.

    dptrucker Thanks this.
