You blew mine! I can't believe anyone would drink that crap.

 

If you feel you need to drink your in the wrong business. The problem with drinking alcohol is it is telling you its ok to do so. It is that time when you forget your not supposed to drive under the influence and with a commercial vehicle. I just pray you arent anywhere near where I live.

 

Trying to find the statute; Carrying alcohol in the cab with out it being listed on the manifest, is not legal.

Let me try and explain this.

Having a 6 pack while off duty, or 10 cases of beer on duty, Not on the BOL are two very different situations!

 

I work in New Jersey home of the 'Lock 'em up and let the Judge sort it out' police system. Only Troopers are MCSAP trained/funded but any local POPO seeing alcohol would swell with Pride as he grabbed his handcuffs...Depending on the location there might be a truck to return to once you make bail...

 

Odds are that the OP is a company driver, right? I don’t know of ANY companies that allow any alcohol in the truck. It’s a pretty stupid reason to get fired.
