Need help with ntc400bc3

    Got a 1984 359 13speed 3.90 rears
    Its a cummins recon motor just done a inflame laid down just under 10k miles after inflame now it has no power smokes like no other pulled the fuel button to see what it was cause at this point I had no clue had a 5 in it put a 12 in now fuel psi is at 195-200 at 80k lbs hard pull at 2100 rpm Pyro at 900 truck poors white smoke with a faint hint of black into it has no power boost is getting 34-36 not sure size of turbo fans nice and tight front and back but still when first rolling into the throttle kinda fluttering sound out the exhaust and lags terribly once it gets 18 on boost she takes off from there but still poor white smoke and no power not sure what the issue is few ppl I have talked to think the pt pump is going out ive ran the motor with a new fuel line out of a 5 gallon bucket just to eliminate the thought of a collapsed fuel line or sucking air some where but 0 change any help would be appreciated

    I wouldn't think so I never messed with it when I was in there the 10k miles I put on it I didn't have any issue just happened outta the blue while drivin down the rd

    Any oil or water mixing?

    I would get a heat gun and check each cylinder to see if you have any cold ones.

    No water in oil no oil in rad what would you consider cold far as temp range wise

    Yep, cyclinder temps on a cold start. Before manifold heat soaks.

    They all should be pretty close.

    It should be obvious if you have a cold one.

    I took this once before if memory serves me correctly they was all 20-40 degrees range difference but will double check when I get the chance

    Get the temps from cold. Might have to pull manifold and see which hole, or holes are smoking.

    An "inflame major"? Sorry,,my '85 Pete, 400BC, sat for a long time, did what you describe, and it was a stuck aneroid valve.
