So after 1 year,9 months,2 weeks(and 210,600 miles as the Freightliner flies, lol) my fleet manager put me in a new truck. I’ve gone over to the dark side....
From a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution with a Detroit DD-15 to a 2021 Kenworth T-680 with a Cummins X-15!! 13 miles on the clock. Last time I drove a Cummins powered truck Marten still had Kenworth T-660 Aerodynes in the fleet. On startup the X-15 sounds like a BEAST-definitely louder than the Detroit I was used to! 6503A844-F32B-40E8-AE42-E85F577C3672.jpeg 7D87D70D-B7A4-4447-B5BD-90C50CA0AC3C.jpeg 2702D93A-1994-427A-A134-550C089D8488.jpeg 78B539D7-7471-41A6-87CF-38438832A53A.jpeg 5EC97E8C-F89C-4DD6-9C7F-CA7C3F3E5D45.jpeg 8076D0D4-B9C6-4EDC-A2BD-A5EF2C662809.jpeg B4323249-CFBC-47CF-8EA9-00B9D0FAA435.jpeg

    NICE!!!
Personally, I'm a Volvo fan. I have a 2019 VNL760 with a DD13. I actually like the smaller engine, because it is lighter. I drive reefer and am usually pretty heavy. Having a lighter truck makes getting my weights legal easier.
I drove a 2017 Kenworth when I was with a trainer. Other than being heavier than I prefer, it was a good truck!
Anyway, BRAND NEW TRUCK!!!! I'm Jealous!!

Watch out, this is when most truck mishaps occur. Hate to see you on one of your own posts. Heck of an upgrade. Enjoy, it will probably never happen again,,,

Don’t jinx it,this my 2nd new truck with the company!lol
Yeah,it’s a little bit more truck than I’m used to. PACCAR must’ve cut the company a sweetheart deal because that’s all the new trucks that are coming in at Mondovi. I was expecting to get into a newer Freightliner (which would’ve be fine-as long as they gave me a blue truck-3 1/2 years of having a white truck makes things a little monotonous, plus they’re a PITA to keep clean, lol).

Tractor shop view from a distance. Every one of those trucks are brand new K-Whoppers. Some have yet to get their decals installed while others are getting plates, registration and inspection-SOP.
