PFJ points are good for parking. Use them all the time.

If I owned a parking lot or fuel stop I would charge to park. Not all but a small minority of drivers are inconsiderate pigs. Selfish tear #### up and throw trash all over. Run over landscaping tear up facilities. Then have the audacity to think the fuel stops or customers should kiss their stinky unwashed #####. In reality without fuel stops, customers and support staff we couldn’t do our jobs. So get off your high horse thinking everyone needs to kiss the high and mighty truck drivers ###. You do this job because either you like it or your stuck doing it.

TAPetro, Loves and PFJ I spend enough or my carrier does that I feel privileged to park there. Mom and pop, I feel obligated to pay for parking by buying something.

If I had a Truck Stop. You would pay when entering. Present your proof of purchases, and get a refund. The Detroiter south of Detroit did that. To many freeloaders, park and won't spend a dime.

Most truck stops make very little profit off of fuel, just like most gas stations for 4 wheelers. Their goal is to get you in the store and buy the higher profits margins product’s inside.

Truckstops sell way more fuel. The average car has a 15gal tank. My truck has 240...

True, however I am betting the company you drive for or are leased to get significant fuel discount. So the fuel stops don’t make the huge profit everyone seems to think they do. Add the cost of cleaning up after the pigs in this industry, you know the ones that throw trash everywhere, tear up the facilities and generally have the “I am a super trucker look at me, bow down at my feet and praise me” Attitude. Wonder why things are so outrageous on prices. Coupled with the fact that property taxes are high as hell. Most cities, municipalities don’t want us around due the the things I mentioned above.

Parking is a "cost of doing business" deduction. Why use your "perks" for that. Pay, take the expense deduction, use your points for..you.

Most offer free "paid" parking with minimum fuel purchase.
