I live in Tucson .. This Chinese owned company is a joke and if it ever does happen, I don't see them being the ones to standardize the technology .
You used to see a driver and two Chinese engineers riding .. Now there's usually just a driver hauling freight or empty trailers from Walmart or Amazon in between Tucson <-->Phx with the occasional Las Vegas run
I have friends that drove for them.. they pay you well , provide food and you sleep in a hotel when away from home ! While the truck is guarded but it seems like mostly propaganda at this point

I wonder how many driverless trucks will go up a dirt mountain road during a road closure because truck gps routed them that way. Or stop on the road like a deer in the headlights when something happened in front of them that flag men are routing you around lol..
