So I live in the Toledo Ohio area. I’ve been driving for 2 years now. I have all my endorsements, no restrictions, good driving record, etc. I was told LTL is the place to be. I have a good idea of who the best LTL companies are in my area for linehaul, but not for p&d. From the posts on here, Old Dominion, XPO, ABF, Estes, Dayton, FXF and UPSF seem to be the best ones. Can anyone rank these in my area? Being 42, I’m looking for a career that pays well and that I can eventually retire from. I dont want to bounce from job to job.
Advice on P&D in Toledo Ohio area.

You're in a freight lane where you can literally pick what carrier you want to go to and have as much success as you choose to make of it.
If you're going to to P&D with a LTL carrier in that list, I'd choose in the following order:
1. FedEx Freight
2. UPS Freight
3. Old Dominion
4. Dayton Freight
5. ABF Freight
6. Estes
7. XPOFarva, Lumper Humper and Texas_hwy_287 Thank this. -
