I have a clean dac..clean driving record..not a thing bad on my dac/license...but today some dumb ### tapped my trailer while I was making a turn.. but of course..im put to blame!! Not even a scratch or dent on my tractor or trailer nothing..but the driver of the ####ty car had a small piece of his bumper missing..but of course they put the blame on me and label it as an accident..so my questions are..(I'm an owner op btw) I pay for all kinds of insurance thro a company I work with..will I be fired for this so called "accident" even with no damage at all?? And will other company's..if I try to be with as an owner op..not hire me?? If so..what company will accept me?
Getting hired after "accident"??

Your not an owner operator, your a leased operator. They own you.

You gotta watch that crap. In your mirrors. YOU have to watch out for THEM.
They'll do that to you. All day long. And YOU. As the professional driver. Should know that.
Cars are your enemy. If they can make you hit them. They will.magoo68 and homeskillet Thank this. -
Calm down dude.. Were you "at fault" or was this just labeled as "preventable"? There is a legal difference.

People with accidents get hired all the time. The real question is: if you already have a job, and assuming you're decently happy there, why are you worried about getting hired elsewhere?

Yeah...it was hardly an accident. Waste of time.
