    True... lol

I won’t be freezing thats for sure and I do prefer sleeping in cooler temps... but ya, I’ll be heading back to the Midwest at some point.

    Thanks.

And strangely, since getting the truck back from the dealership, I have complete loss of air pressure in both systems in the morning... not a big deal as they pressurize like normal. Just don’t remember ever sitting in the floor of the cab waiting for the seat to pump up.

So Four Oaks... QC says we can park on the street at this location, but the “street” is just literally a street... no shoulder or other space to get off the street. I do see other trucks parked there but one needs to change lanes to get around them.

Curious, has anyone here taken a 10 on site here before a DnH? Had any issues with parking right on the street?

I normally stop short and roll in after a 10.

I never have, but see other drivers taking their break on the street with no issues.

My air does the same thing also
I can air up the truck and then shut the truck off and can’t hear any air leaks
You have a Freightliner to ?

Does FCC dispatch you where you are kind of forced to trip plan to sleep on the street (if you want to stay legal HOS) if you know you're not going to be able to get to a safe and secure parking place? Or would you guys just do that by choice?

I've slept overnight at shippers and receivers, although I don't like to do that either. That said, I need to make sure there's a bathroom available wherever I sleep and also, I would be worried about safety and getting a ticket if I was sleeping on the street/road. I know a lot of warehouses you will see drivers parked outside the facility on the road/street overnight, but I don't like it, have never done it and would certainly never purposefully trip plan to put myself in that situation.

I'm not an FCC driver but am considering them (along with many other companies too) at some point in the future, is why I'm asking.

Get a camping toilet. Problem of always needing a restroom solved. Saving the clock is number 1 priority for OTR.

    Yeah ok.

If anybody else could actually answer my question, that would be nice. Or maybe RebelChick was indirectly answering it, with the answer of "Yes". I don't know.
