They said eggs and dairy product were harmful to your health, I wish my grandfather had listened to the experts because he loved his eggs and ice cream. But it finally caught up with him, he died at the young age of 105!

I know those fools were telling my mom what not to eat. I said stop telling my mom that she is 90. She can eat what's she wants. You're like 30 telling someone who is 3 times your age what to eat. What

I use the Dexcom CGM system. I try to keep my blood sugar >95 as I am an insulin-dependent diabetic. Potatoes are good. I eat them in just about every way you can imagine. One thing though, they are really glycemic, and if I eat more than an average size baked one or the equivalent I can expect my blood sugar to spike in the 180 to 200 range within 90 minutes. (even if I take a fast-acting insulin like Novolog) but gosh they are good!

i think the old saying...."moderation" in what you drink, eat will do anyone good.
diabetics needs to stay away from too many sugars, and carbs, which turn into sugar.
those with a lactose intolerance need to adapt to different foods, or take pills.
i think that these rocket scientists, know jack squat.
years ago, coffee was bad.
years ago, pizza was bad.
what was found??
coffee is not bad
pizza can be a health food, due to the veggies, and the dough.
these rocket scientists ought to stick to what they really know......and that is.....

kinda reminds me of grits. always heard of them, never had them, until i started driving down south.
big ole gal at the truck stop asked, "you want grits with that"?
said, "i never had them"
she gave me a small bowl, free of charge by the way, i ate them up, and actually liked them.
back then, my usual tip was 20% of the bill. it would have been like a $2.00 tip that day.
i gave her $5.00.
to this day, i buy Quaker Oats Grits, the ones you have to boil, and have them during the winter months for breakfast, once a week. the other days, oatmeal.
don't get me started on apple, peach cobblers, or rhubarb pies....
the dang Italian in me would not admit to eating "foreign foods"......
Trucker61016, Mooseontheloose, Milr72 and 1 other person Thank this.
