Yes, I know of Charles Holmes. He's out of Wichita, has tall sided trailers, office is on North Broadway in Wichita. I think they haul mids a lot. I know of Murray also but not that well.

This harvest has been so odd don't know of any farmers that need drivers. Sun Valley in Hutch has 20 or so trucks but don't know if they need drivers. They haul for numerous grain companies during harvest but are also busy year round.

How is the OTR work doing for hoppers in the mid-west right now? First of next week I will be stationed in the midwest for 2-3 wks out at a time...New trailer, new dispatcher, new numbers on the truck.

Ask BHW her hubby pulls in that area. Here it is pretty slow due to lack of harvesting. Changing companies? Somewhat surprised you're still going to pull hoppers.

Yep, been raining lightly but steadily since middle of last night, picked up steam this afternoon and rained a little harder. I'd guess we've had close to an inch without looking at the gauge. Still got a lot of green on the radar that has to pass over us. Won't be anything done tomorrow, possibly till Saturday or Sunday, although the forecast said the weather should clear off by Fri evening and be nice for several days.

I don't mind the hoppers now that I have learned how to load mine. What I minded was the DH the dispatcher ran us. His average is 18% according to the owner. :biggrin_25511: I will still be with Eclipse but with a new leasor and new dispatcher. Also a 2010 Timpte with vibrators:biggrin_25514: (wifes excited:biggrin_25526:) as soon as I can get routed through Beatrice.:biggrin_25514:

Wildwood LOL, I love that place. They got fewer teeth per capita in that town, than anywhere else on earth. I used to get the truck waxed, and wheels polished down there. Kinda cool just to hang out and watch the circus freak towns people.

I would think you will have better loads in midwest too. Nice to have new trailer...vibrators will help with some products. Hopefully less DH miles also. Good luck.

Kansas, still like pulling hoppers? I realize you have only been pulling for a few weeks. Seems like a person either loves it or hates it. There are days I think both ways.
