I just hope they leave the deli sub shop and soup bar in the Canaan location alone. Sure, it's an old place, but the subs and soups there can't be beat!

Fultonville needs a lot of work, I agree, but the food there is surprisingly good, too. Onvo, if you're reading this, please keep the deli sub shops and soup bars as they are, but remodel all the rest of the buildings!

    bzinger Thanks this.

I haven't been to Lounsbury in about 40 years. It was a real old world true truckstop back then with a sit down restaurant before it got sold and they took out the restaurant.

Fultonville Super Stop was also decent years ago. I used to go there up to about 20 years ago. The restaurant closed and reopened but was pretty clean and the food was good. The parking was free and then they had parking lot Mafia patrol and threaten to evict if not paid.

I'll have to stop at one of these Onvo's just to see how much of a change they have made.

What was Lounsberry called back then? I'm only in my mid-30's, so I have no idea.

I worked there for 13 years.I know the place inside and out.I hope the new owners have lots and lots of money.
If it's raining and you need fuel stay away. You pull in a bay and get out of the truck you're standing in 3 inches of water let alone getting a free shower from the canopy leaking so bad.
You better hope the pumps don't do the trickle trick. They slow down so much that you can p faster. No one has been able to figure out why this happens let alone fixing it.
    That's just the canopy.

    bzinger and bthomann Thank this.
