I’ll gladly take those loads... I have a daughter in Savannah to spend some of that extra time.

my very first 34 here was spent hanging out in Savannah with her and the son in law ... was a rather nice “welcome to FCC”... lol

    Loner2legs and gntorres61 Thank this.

Add yet another pat on the back to FCC

today I had my very first swap of trailers with another driver ... ya, I guess some Driver is trying to get home for the weekend and this is what the planners came up with... (FYI, it’s me)

so ya, anyway, gotta give the team in Fremont some applause that they are planning loads in such a way that swapping/rescuing/repowering loads OTR is virtually nonexistent... except to help out a fellow driver heading home... and he appreciated it too.

again, gotta love our planners here at FCC

    cheers

Delivered on the Eastern Shore of Maryland this morning, bounced 135 miles into NJ and live loaded. I sat in a door for 3 hours without them beginning to load me, I finally went back in, “oh shoot we forgot about door 3.” Loaded about 30 minutes later. I will drop this in University Park, Illinois.

I will pick up a preloaded trailer 50 miles north in Illinois going to Blair, Nebraska for a drop. Get my truck serviced Monday morning and then pick up a trailer off the Council Bluffs yard going to Four Oaks, NC and then home for Christmas.

Back out this morning, headed to Lumberton for a Quickie load going to Topeka KS for Monday at or before 1800. Running in circles, again.

Sometimes running the same lanes can’t get monotonous, but miles are miles at the end of the week. I usually get one West coast run when I’m out for three or four weeks, but this time I’ve been running back and forth to the East coast across 80 and 76. This is my third trip across in the last two weeks. Be safe.

I think monotonous is my middle name. Same 3 - 4 places every day. Same roads every day equals B-O-R-I-N-G. Add to that all the dysfunction here (not FCC for those who may think I’m talking about this good company) and it’s no wonder I hate coming to work every day. Just trying to hang on until I get things settled on the home front and then we will see where life takes me.

Ever since I have come off of home time in November I have been going east also except for a load I picked up at Crete Nebraska And took that load to Lubbock Texas and picked up another load in Amarello Texas and took it to DeKalb
Illinois. Then I went to our drop load over in the Chicago area and picked up another load going out to New Jersey that I just did. I got unloaded and reloaded in the same door with the Load going back to Lincoln tomorrow.
