I know you techs are busy and honestly I could not exist without you and genuinely appreciate what you all do! I just need to know if I was taken advantage of today. I feel like I was but if you guys set me straight I'll eat it and chill out! Can you ball park this for me? This was not my usual shop and I really went here because they have a nice wheel balancer! Then all the rest came about because I figured hey man I am here so lets get stuff taken care of!

    1.) Balance left front steer.

    2.) new front air lines.

3.) Front drive axle wheel seals/yolk seal/drums/shoes/diff fluid.

4.) Leveling valve (air bags were not filling).

5.) Tail lights were not working. Stop/turn/hazards were fine.

Just a heads up they had 5 hours for tail lights and the front air lines. These are 2 things I would normally do myself but figured hey man they have it in there and lets just get it done.

I found out today at 4pm the truck was done Saturday but no one called me and I for sure lost a load today (Monday) because of that. I only found out at 4 because I finally got worried and called them!

I didn't want to call them and bug them and figured for sure they would notify me when it was done.

I honestly don't mind paying we are all in this together but I also don't want to get screwed....I can't afford it and it doesn't feel good! LOL.

I'll give you my price once I hear some input from ya'll.

Thanks for taking the time if you can!

Going to be a big bill. I agree 5 hours to replace a couple light bulbs and those two air hoses going to the front brake pods seems like too much.

No not bulbs ....they traced a broken wire. And the air lines are 12" long right at the steer wheels. Mine did not leak air but looked old so I figured why not change them.

For all over those (I agree)? Even double it for trouble shooting and they still went well over!

Something you get when you take your truck to a shop to get worked on.

Electrical diagnosis are very time consuming, and can take hours. I would like to know where exactly the bad wire was before I give you my answer.
